Welcome to Camp Yearbook 2008

July 28th - July 31st, 2008

We just help you tell it

There are thousands of stories waiting to be told. We want you to tell YOURS. As a yearbook staff, it is YOUR obligation to make sure that YOUR school’s story is being told. You can’t create a book that could be the story for any school, it must be uniquely YOURS. This year we will help you to look at ways to tell those stories on your campus that will make students want to read and remember all that happened. It is not as hard as you might think, but you do have to think. We are going to encourage you to look at the way you cover your school, and get you to think outside the box. You will leave with new coverage ideas, design skills, leadership skills, and a renewed enthusiasm for doing a great book. Hope to see you there!

Faculty We have gathered up a bunch of the best folks around to help your staffs create the book they dream of. Take a look at who’s teaching at camp.

Student Life All Work and no play makes for a boring camp! That’s why our details make sure that our campers not only learn more than they ever thought possible, but they also have more fun than they could have ever imagined. Ever dreamed about being in a “no talent” talent show?

Curriculum Each camper chooses one main strand to go to throughout camp. There are many to choose from. Make sure that when you fill out your paperwork, you include your first AND second choice as strands are filled on a first come first served basis until they are full. You can count on these classes to make you the expert you’ve always wanted to be!!

Resort Info No you are not dreaming! What better place to set your sights high than a world class resort set aside exclusively for Camp Yearbook? The Miramonte Resort and Spa is considered one of the top resorts in the world. It’s a place where dreams come true. It is the perfect place to plan out your dream book. When it comes to quality, they really know what counts.

Electives Campers have the opportunity to choose another area to learn more about while at camp. You will sign up for these when you arrive at camp. Take a look and see what areas will help you and your staff create your dream book.

RegistrationHere you will find all of the information and forms you need. Registration is due by June 1, or there is a late registration fee of $25 per person. Hurry and reserve your places. Make sure that the forms are filled in completely. Count on being there!
